With production from the dynamic London producer LongLivThePlug, the vibrant track mixes urgent hip-hop and future R&B beats with Vanessa’s sublimely soulful vocal and brilliantly showcases her sharp song-writing talent which has helped her to garner praise from music fans and outlets such as Wonderland, Complex, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Beats 1, 1Xtra and Capital Xtra and more since launching her solo career towards the end of 2015.

On ‘Running Wild’, Vanessa White told NYLON:

"Whilst working on the EP I started to really embrace being more honest and open with what I write about in the studio and ’Running Wild’ is a product of that. It’s about playing out a scenario in your mind that might or might not happen but because it explores using your imagination and tapping into your own desires, you can take it as far as you would like to.  It’s about taking control of what you want and how you feel.

I’ve grown so much over the past year, both musically and through life experiences, including this solo journey which at times can be a bit of a rollercoaster.  I can hear and feel that growth in the music and hope people who listen to it can feel it too and are able to take something away from it for themselves."

Fueled By Ramen band All Time Low has premiered, “Life Of The Party,” a brand new track off their anticipated LP, LAST YOUNG RENEGADE. The song and accompanying Pat Tracy directed music video is streaming now on Fueled By Ramen’s official YouTube channel. 

Frontman Alex Gaskarth elaborated on the song and video concept: “Volume 3: Life of the Party: An anthem for a million hazy, wasted, restless nights; melancholy undertones full of waking regret and clumsy self-indulgence.  It speaks to the part of who we are that always wants to please, trying to live up to the expectations of the spotlight pointed back at us. We try so hard to become what we think the world wants, that sometimes we lose touch with who we really are.”

MATOMA UNVEILS THE BRAND NEW TRACK ‘GIRL AT COACHELLA’

Having recently hit a million global sales of his smash hit ‘False Alarm’, Norwegian producer Matoma is currently completing his ‘Party At Your Place’ tour which has already included sold-out shows in Londonand New York. Already the 37^th most streamed artist in the world at Spotify, the latest step in an exciting time in Matoma’s career comes with the release of the brand new track ‘Girl At Coachella’.

While it maintains the lilting, summery vibe of some of Matoma’s biggest hits to date, ‘Girl At Coachella’presents a change from his usual house-orientated productions with a pop track infused with a reggae feel. Nasri, vocalist with Canadian band MAGIC!, performs the track’s hedonistic tale of fleeting love atAmerica’s most famous festival, while ‘Broccoli’ rapper D.R.A.M. is also present to contribute a punchy denouement to the story.

As Matoma explains:

"I played my first ever Coachella last year and it was a truly incredible experience. Between the two weekends I was doing writing sessions in L.A. and met up with Nasri from MAGIC! who I have always been a huge fan of because of their feel-good reggae-inspired music.

We wanted to write a song about Coachella since I had the moment of my life at that festival, so we came up with this story about a girl who teases with a guy’s feelings at heart at the festival. It's just a fun story about the good vibes and reckless fun that people experience at a music festival.

We finished the song really quickly and then asked D.R.A.M. if he could do a verse since we felt a rapper could take the song to exciting new heights. After hearing his verse I can from my heart say that he nailed it. I was so honoured to work with such amazing artists and hope you love this feel-good summer song!"

Matoma – the 25-year-old artist born Tom Lagergren – has certainly done big things in a short amount of time.
