THE WANTED charmers Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay
McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes are back to make fan girls swoon over
the globe again. The British-Irish boy band who brought
us mind-blowing singles like “All Time Low”, “Glad You Came” and “Gold Forever”
presents us with their latest offering --- a self-titled Special Edition EP
called The Wanted. The album comprises material from The Wanted's two studio
albums, The Wanted (2010) and Battleground (2011), plus the new songs “Satellite” and "Chasing the Sun". The latter is set to be the theme song for
this year’s Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.
No other song in the world could have been more apt this rainy season than this
hot new single. How could you go wrong with lyrics like ‘When the daylight’s fading, we’re gonna play in the dark till it’s
golden again’? --- definitely an awesome tune to break the drizzly weather
in Manila.
The Wanted |
The Wanted Special Edition EP features
ten tracks; all of it is world-class contemporary pop music. The
three singles we know already: No. 1 Digital Single “All Time Low”, electro
rave thriller “Gold Forever” and the monster Europop summertime No.1, “Glad You
Came”. From the exhilarating electro-pop of “Invincible” to the tormented
strings of “Warzone” and the throbbing electronics of “Mad Man”, “Chasing the
Sun” and “Lose My Mind”, the album twists unexpectedly between both the epic
and atmospheric through the soulfully acoustic tune of “Heart Vacancy” and the
sheer euphoria of their own brand of future-pop, best summed up in the single
“Lightning”.
The
Wanted have already achieved four Top Five singles and two Number Ones, been
viewed a staggering 30 million times on YouTube and sold over 400,000 copies of
their debut album upon its release last October. Watch out as their sensational
ditties and undoubtedly good looks will soon rock fan girls over the
Philippines.
THE WANTED SPECIAL EDITION EP is
out now in CDs exclusively under MCA Music available at Astroplus and Odyssey Music &
Video or online via www.MyMusicStore.com.ph
