I first watched CareDivas last February the 14th.
I was told that this was one of PETA’s productions with reruns besides Rak Of
Aegis. CareDivas tells about five OFWs transgenders who juggles work between
caregiving and Sing & Dance act in Israel.
Besides the comedy, there are realities shown here about
situation of OFWs abroad regardless of gender preference. This is why POEA is
giving passes to OFW families for this latest run of CareDivas. In addition to
this, the original cast is reunited for this run including Jerome Napoles.
CareDivas will run for the whole month of July. The original
music is composed by Vince De Jesus. This is also part of PETA’s 50th
year. For more musical productions, follow this blog and like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook.
