August ushers in a celebration of world class musical talent performance by acclaimed Filipino composer Nilo Alcala. He debuts original compositions for the Manila Symphony Orcherstra on August 6 at Power Mac Center Spotlight.
Simultaneously, Spanish composer, Edouard Lalo’s ‘Symphonie Espagnole’ (1874), will be performed by German-Indonesian guest violin soloist, Iskandar Widjaja. Joining this stellar pair of performers is bohemian composer Antonin Dvorak's 'Symphony No.8,' who will be under the baton of Singaporean conductor Darrell Ang.
This officially marks the beginning of the 2017 to 2018 season of the Manila Symphony Orchestra. Tickets range from PHP1400, 1000, 900, 550, 350; available at all Ticketworld outlets
