For more than a decade, Earth Day Jam is being observed not just a music festival but as a venue to promote awareness and concern for the mother planet. Music artist Lou Bonnevie said that if most of the celebrities are doing any means of campaign, why can't we.
For the first time this year, the event will be held at Bonifacio High Street Bear Park. Since its development, the High Street is an ideal example of a commercial area that promotes environmental maintenance from the low speed limit and how cleanliness is observed.
Each artist will perform three songs in their segment and in between performances there will be talks about the topic concern. There will also be booth from different environmental organizations that you can interact with to find out what you can do to take part of the campaign.
What I like about the these events that not only its free and you don't need to have big budget venue and logistics to organize an open event such as these but there will also be a response for those who are present during the event. They are required to give their pledge on what they will promise to do as support to the campaign.
So go to Bear Park at the High Street on April 28, 2012 6PM. If you have trouble going there, there is a free shuttle boarding area for e-trikes route starting at Market! Market! going to the venue. Now that is the best way to not only travel in style, but also to travel without harming the environment. Performing for the event are Kjwan, Imago, Noel Cabangon, Nina, Juris, Sino Sikat, Tanya Markova, True Faith Peace Pipe Mayonnaise, Bloomfields, and Lou Bonnevie. Mayonnaise and Bloomfields were present during the media launch. Mayonnaise said that this will be they're first time to join such an event.
