adidas Originals Breathe and Stop Party

After the successful barbecue party with adidas global ambassador DJ Neil Armstrong providing the house music, adidas is having another party with not just one but three international DJs: Ali Shameed Muhammad, Shorkut and Maseo. They are here as part of the Asian tour with adidas Originals as brand ambassadors.

The international DJs are aware of the recent devastation from the recent monsoon rains and they are not sure what to expect coming here. Vincent Mason aka Maseo, said during the media conference that they were glad to see the sun is shining and smiling faces of people upon entering the adidas store in Makati.
Shortkut in action

Maseo is a Grammy award-winning MC/DJ and producer of the hiphop group, De La Soul. Jon Cruz aka Shortkut is a founding member of three DJ crews: Invisible Skratch Pickles, World Famous Beat Junkies, and Triple Threat. I got to witness Shorkut in action in the adidas store in Greenbelt 3 while the Pinoy All-Stars danced to the beat. I was surprised when I saw that before entering the store that I thought the media conference was already halfway. Philippine pride is also represented in this event because Shortkut is a Filipino-American. Ali Shameed Muhammad is a producer/DJ and one third of the legendary hiphop group, A Tribe Called Quest. This is not his first time to perform in Manila. He was a pioneer during the first Manila Music Festival which I also covered months ago. Ali Shameed said he was honored to be among the first to perform during that event and appreciated how the Filipinos embraced his music. He said that given a chance, he would love to return to the next Manila Music Festival. To Ali Shameed, his music is not just a means to work but his reflections that he wants to share to other people.

All three international DJs are going to give the biggest party event tonight at White Space Makati beginning at 9PM. Get a chance to the fun for only P800 per person. For every ticket sold, P100 will go to ongoing relief operations. Maseo advises he love performing but he would appreciate it more if people are not just standing there listening. He like to see people move at his music. Ali Shameed Muhammad's last words are, "Get those dancing shoes ready".
All-Stars turned the adidas store into a dance floor

adidas reflects the active lifestyle not only in sports but also in music and dancing is also an active lifestyle. Each of these three international DJs have their own original music just like adidas has their Originals.
