The JEDWARD
twins are back to bring us the Jedward paradox
once again with the release of their newest album, “Young Love”. The album debuted at number one
on the Irish Albums Chart, thus becoming the twins'
third consecutive album to debut at the top spot of their home country's album
chart. It also debuted at number 63 on the United Kingdom Albums Chart, with sales of 2,241 copies in
the country during its first week of release.

Jedward
comprises identical twins John and Edward Grimes (born 16 October 1991 in Dublin, Ireland). Widely known for their blond
quiffs,
they first appeared as John &
Edward in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, generating a phenomenon described as
"the Jedward paradox". They finished sixth and
are now managed by Louis Walsh, who was their mentor during The
X Factor.
YOUNG
LOVE is the third album of this Irish pop duo; a concept album based around the
story of a relationship. The cover art features the duo with their trademark
(and slightly ludicrous) quiffs replaced by a more mature windswept look, a
change that is also reflected in the music. It features 12 solid breezy pop songs
including the lead track “Young Love”, the ballad “Luminous”, the
heart-stopping “P.O.V.”, the catchy pop tune “Happens in the Dark” and their
hit “Waterline” which was chosen to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song
Contest this year.
